- Jenny Tagged me so here I go......
*I'm a terrible impulse shopper, I am constantly buying and returning things(mostly due to buyers remorse) I just have a hard time passing up a good sale!
*I'm obessed with Friends, I own all 10 seasons, and I probably watch at least one episode everyday.
*I can't start my day without a Diet Coke, if I don't have one, beware.....it could get ugly!
*I have a really hard time watching live T.V. now, since having our DVR I record everything, even if I'm home, I'll start it like a hour later so I can fast forward through all the commercials.
*I am probably the pickiest eater you'll ever meet, if I don't know whats in it, and I mean everything, I won't touch it. I like things to be pretty basics, I don't need all the toppings, and garnish.
*I don't really notice I do it but Jason tells me I do, but everytime I have my picture taken I do a little laugh right before, he is constantly commenting on it, but honestly I don't ever notice it.
Oh....and if you are reading this consider yourself tagged.
These last couple of weeks we have had to get creative with how Daniel takes his naps, with me not being able to lift him still, and he's still in his crib, we have resorted to putting the mattress on the floor, I tried having him nap with me on the couch and that just didn't work so we decided to give this a try, and he actually did really well, he got up about 3 times and finally when I took him back to his room the last time he stayed there and finally fell asleep, I guess it was a good trial run to see if he's ready for a big boy bed.
This is how we still spend most of our day with Brielle, she is starting to be awake a little more, but that only lasts maybe 10-15 minutes then we are back asleep again. Also, we took her in for her 2 week check up this last week and she is already at 9 lbs 1 oz and is in the 75 percentile! How crazy is that, she has already gained almost a pound! And she is already 21.5 inches (88 percentile). She is just growing like a weed, but I'm just glad she is a happy, healthy and strong little girl! When Daddy's in charge

This weekend I wasn't feeling well.... so Jason was on full time Daddy duty and when I woke up this is what I found. I guess there is a reason us moms usually get the kids ready. When I asked why he picked this out to put on him, he just says....it was the first thing I saw, and well....I was tired. I just had to laugh. But with the way I was feeling I didn't even change him, yep, he stayed like this most of the day, but hey who are we trying to impress...right?? But hey regardless of what he is wearing he is still as cute as can be! I mean check out that smile he's giving me! I just love this boy to pieces!July 27, 2008
Tummy Time
I have already started tummy time with Brielle, she didn't seem to mind it at all, she would squirm a little bit, but no crying, I am just amazed at how strong she is already!
Holding her head up like a champ!
Daniel loves holding Brielle, he is constantly trying to hug and kiss her. We are still working on him being soft with her, but he really is so cute with her, I just love watching him with her.
Brielle's favorite lounge place. She hates to lay flat on her back, so the boppy has been a true lifesaver.First Bath

Brielle's cord finally fell off, so when my mom was here staying with us she helped me give Brielle her first bath, now I thought she was going to hate it, because she hates to be undressed, but to my surprise she loved it, not one cry the entire time, the only time she did was after we got her out, but once she got warm and got her binky she calmed right down. I'm just hoping future baths are just as easy.....maybe another little water baby. Daniel loved his baths and loves water in general, so hopefully thats the case with Brielle as well. The Proud Big Brother!
This last week Daniel has warmed up quite a bit to Brielle, when we first brought her home he wanted nothing to do with her, he would just push her away, and everytime she cried he would start crying or make faces, like get her out of here. But these last few days he has been a totally different little boy to her, he now loves to give her hugs and kisses and he's constantly trying to hold her hand, plus he has become the little helper in helping me feed her, he loves to help me hold her bottle. I don't think he still fully understands what is going on, but we talk to him about it everyday, and as each day goes by, he gets better and better with her. Plus I think some of his frustration comes from me being different with him, because of the c-section I haven't been able to lift him up, put him in his high chair, or even play with him the same way, due to me still being a little sore, and trying to heal. Its actually been really hard on me as well, I miss doing all those things for him, and can't wait till I can be myself again and be able to play and hang out with my little guy like we are use to. My recovery has been going well, its been a lot easier this time around compared to my first c-section, but I still find myself at the end of the day sore and tired, but then again it hasn't even been 2 weeks, but each day gets better for me. I just can't wait until I can lift and hold my little guy again!Mama's Girl
Brielle has got me wrapped around her little finger! She's not even 2 weeks yet and she is quite the mama's girl! I always said I wanted a snuggly baby.....well I got one, but on this occasion nothing seemed to work when I was trying to calm her down, so I finally layed her on her tummy on my lap and was patting her back and she calmed down instantly, but if I tried to stop patting or move her she would start crying again. Now she is'nt a real fussy baby, but she knows what she wants, and if she's hungry or wants to be held, she will let you know, and yes she has quite the lungs on her! It has been quite a change for me, going from Daniel who was such a layed back, mellow baby, to Brielle, who is already showing her true colors, but either way, I love her and well.....I just can't get enough of her!

Family
Grandma and Brielle
Daniel wasn't quite sure what to think of Brielle at first....we tried to get him to hold her and he just pushed her away, but he finally warmed up her and started giving her kisses on the head.
It was funny when she made this face, because Daniel use to do all the time when he was a newborn.July 15, 2008
Last picture of me prego! 5:30 a.m. and ready to have our baby!
snuggle time!
The delivery went as smoothly as it could, we got to the hospital at 5:30 a.m. and they got me prepped, with the I.V. and epidural and we were ready to go by 7:30 a.m. I remember laying there in the operating room talking with everyone and joking around, when I asked when they were going to start, and they were like we already have, you should have your baby here in a few minutes. The next thing I know I feel a little bit of pressure here a suction noise then I heard the best noise possible, her crying! And of course it was a relief to hear that it was in fact a girl! So as the doctors were stitching me up we were taking guesses how much she would weigh, I guessed 6 1/2 lbs and Jason thought about the same as well, little did we know we were quite off, she came in at 8 lbs 5 oz! Yea we were all a little shocked, how on earth did this 8 lb baby fit in there! No wonder my back was always hurting! As I was taken to recovery Jason went with Brielle to the nursery, and what a relief it was when Jason came back and said she was healthy and strong!Welcome Baby Brielle!
Our first family picture
Well, we are finally home from the hospital, and enjoying every minute of it with our sweet little girl! We are all still pretty tired and for me I'm still pretty sore, but I wanted to at least get a picture up of Brielle. Everything went smoothly and she is healthy as can be! I'll try and get more pics up soon.July 16, 2008

A trip down memory lane.....
- So my friend had this on her blog, and thought I would join in fun and do the same. It was fun to think of all the memories we had and all the crazy and fun things we had done toghether. So here it goes.....
- 1. Add a comment of a memory you have of the two of us together. It doesn't matter if you know me very well or just a little, it can be anything. It can be a recent memory or from way back. Once you leave a comment I will assume you are playing too.
- 2. Add these instructions to you own post and wait for the memories to start rolling in.
4th Of July

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable 4th of July. We spent the day up at my parents house, took Daniel to the park and enjoyed a yummy bbq! Given my current condition and being so hot, this was the perfect way to spend it. This year was nice too, because for the last 3 years Jason has always had to work on the 4th, but with his new job we actually have holidays off now, so it was quite the treat this year to have him around for the 4th and the entire weekend!Pool Party

Over the 4th of July weekend our friend Maria had a pool party and it was just what we needed, plus being in the water felt so good, I finally got some relief from all this back pain. And with Daniel being the little water boy he is, he just had a blast. It was just the perfect way to end our weekend, relaxing in the pool and hanging out with friends.8 Days left!
I may not look it, but I feel huge.....only 1 week 1 day until our little girl arrives!
Here is the most recent belly shot of me, everywhere I go people say i'm to little to be as far along as I am.....but man I don't feel small, I'm just carrying her a lot in my back, so I'm in constant pain from that, plus you add in the 25 extra pounds I'm carrying compared to pre-pregnancy...and well I think that would make anyone uncomfortable.
