So, I'm in the living room feeding Brielle when out of the blue Daniel just starts crying, so not knowing why, or what happened I rushed in the dining area to see what was wrong, and what do you know, Daniel crawled under the table but then he couldn't figure out how to get back out, and he was getting quite frustrated by this point, but I wasn't about to just go in there and get him out, and wanted him to try and figure it out by himself, and learn that he can do things by himself. Well...he did eventually figure it out, it was kinda funny watching him, because once he did it I think he realized how easy it really was, and he was making it harder than it should have been. Also he has been getting so much better with his walking, he still wants to crawl most of the time, but he has started walking around the house a little bit.....he just needs a little more confidence, we know he has the strength, and balance, I just don't think he always thinks he does. But we are just so proud of him, and I can't wait until October when we take him to clinic at Primary Childrens and they see how far he has come!So the other day when Daniels Physical Therapist was here she worked really hard with Daniel walking and he was doing really well, then all of sudden today he decided to go ahead and take multiple steps! I was so mad at myself.....he took off and probably took like 10-12 steps and of course I didn't have the video camera, and when I finally got it out, he decided he wasn't going to do it again, but we finally got a little bit of him walking, by this point he was getting a little tired, but we did get a little bit. We are so proud of him and I know he still has a ways to go before he's a pro....but I know each day he is going to get better and better!
So jason and I were looking at her last night and can't decide who she looks like......what do you guys think??? with daniel it was all me, but with Brielle we can't really decide.

I came out to the living room to find Daniel on the couch pretending to sleep like baby sister....he would close his eyes and laugh and then peek out to see if I was still looking and then quickly close them again. For the first few weeks she wasn't to interested in the swing, but these last few days it has been a huge lifesaver. We usually take about one nap and spend our early morning here, but its the one place I can put her and she falls asleep on her own, every other time I usally have to rock her to sleep.
Can you tell she is hungry! Brielle is not a terribly fussy baby, although she does have her moments, and it seems that those moments are when we are trying to go to bed and at 2 a.m. but they have been getting better, this last week I have worked really hard on trying to get her on a schedule, and we just about got it down, we can usually go about 5 1/2 hours at night with just waking up once to eat and then she'll go right back down, then we are usually up by 7 a.m. so its not to bad. We still have our nights where she does'nt want to sleep but those are happening less and we are sleeping more.....so I'm just keeping my fingers cross that we continue to have more good nights!
Daniel has done so good lately entertaining himself, he seemed frustrated for awhile that I couldn't play with him all the time, and have all my attention, but gradually each day gets better, and now he seems okay with the idea of sharing me with Brielle. At first I couldn't get him to go near Brielle, now I can't keep him away from her, he is constantly wanting to hug her and kiss her and just stare at her, we just need to continue working on being soft, I still don't think he understands that part yet, but hopefully soon he will.
I can't believe how big she already getting! Check out those chubby cheeks...i love it!
Playing with Daddy...
*I'm a terrible impulse shopper, I am constantly buying and returning things(mostly due to buyers remorse) I just have a hard time passing up a good sale!
*I'm obessed with Friends, I own all 10 seasons, and I probably watch at least one episode everyday.
*I can't start my day without a Diet Coke, if I don't have one, beware.....it could get ugly!
*I have a really hard time watching live T.V. now, since having our DVR I record everything, even if I'm home, I'll start it like a hour later so I can fast forward through all the commercials.
*I am probably the pickiest eater you'll ever meet, if I don't know whats in it, and I mean everything, I won't touch it. I like things to be pretty basics, I don't need all the toppings, and garnish.
*I don't really notice I do it but Jason tells me I do, but everytime I have my picture taken I do a little laugh right before, he is constantly commenting on it, but honestly I don't ever notice it.

These last couple of weeks we have had to get creative with how Daniel takes his naps, with me not being able to lift him still, and he's still in his crib, we have resorted to putting the mattress on the floor, I tried having him nap with me on the couch and that just didn't work so we decided to give this a try, and he actually did really well, he got up about 3 times and finally when I took him back to his room the last time he stayed there and finally fell asleep, I guess it was a good trial run to see if he's ready for a big boy bed. 
This is how we still spend most of our day with Brielle, she is starting to be awake a little more, but that only lasts maybe 10-15 minutes then we are back asleep again. Also, we took her in for her 2 week check up this last week and she is already at 9 lbs 1 oz and is in the 75 percentile! How crazy is that, she has already gained almost a pound! And she is already 21.5 inches (88 percentile). She is just growing like a weed, but I'm just glad she is a happy, healthy and strong little girl!
This weekend I wasn't feeling well.... so Jason was on full time Daddy duty and when I woke up this is what I found. I guess there is a reason us moms usually get the kids ready. When I asked why he picked this out to put on him, he just says....it was the first thing I saw, and well....I was tired. I just had to laugh. But with the way I was feeling I didn't even change him, yep, he stayed like this most of the day, but hey who are we trying to impress...right?? But hey regardless of what he is wearing he is still as cute as can be! I mean check out that smile he's giving me! I just love this boy to pieces!
