Are they cute or what!

This last friday my good friends Meredith and Viv and her cutie little boy Britton got to come down, we celebrated my birthday and did our traditional lunch at the Olive Garden! It hard to believe we have been doing this for almost 9 years! We still talk about the days when we were in High School and we would ditch class to go to the Olive Garden or just go because and get the best desert in the world! We can't go as often anymore but, we still try to go for birthdays or pretty much and other reason we can come up with! But I sure do miss them! So it was such a treat to have them come down!

18 Months (and such a messy boy!)

Its hard to believe he is already 18 months old, we took him to the Doctor this week and and he is now 21 lbs and just over 30 inches long! He is still on the small side for his age, but boy does he eat! Daniel is now cruising all over the place, once he gets a hold of something, he is on the move! Still no interest in crawling, but we are still working on it. We are just so excited with all the progress he has made! Now that he is 18 months we got to take him to the nursery for the first time! Jason and I almost didn't know what to do with ourselves, but Daniel did really well, I actually don't think he even noticed we were gone, he didn't cry or anything!
(Can you believe those teeth, poor little guy, he just hasn't gotten a break from teehing, he got his first one at 15 months and it seems after one breaks through he has another just about too!)

This is a new face Daniel has been making, one day I was whistling at him and this was the face he made, it was as if he was trying to mimic me, but he gets his whole face into it,(so cute!!)

Grandma and Grandpa's House

Some last minute time with Grandma before we head back to Utah!
Were going to miss you Grandma and Grandpa!

We went to Fun Land to play some mini golf and Daniel played in the arcade area. He loved the bat mobile but when we tried to put him on some of the others he got scared.

Thanks Grandpa for the swing! Daniel loved the swing, now if only we could have one in Utah.

Daniel had so much fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Grandpa set up a swing for him, which he just loved, and he also had fun swinging in the hammock. Plus they had a great toy for Daniel to play with standing, so even on vacation we were working on him getting stronger!

Busch Gardens

Daniel and Grandma burned out from a long day at Busch Gardens

Grandma Carroll, Jason, Heather and Daniel in front of Governor's Green in Williamsburg

Daniel got to ride the Carousel! He had so much fun! Here we all are at Busch Gardens.

Jason and I had some time to go off and ride some rides while Grandma and Grandpa watched Daniel.

We all got to go down to Williamsburg to go to Busch Gardens, it ended up raining on us but we all still had a lot of fun, we were hoping Daniel would be able to go on a few of the kids rides but with him not walking yet he was'nt able too, but hey he just enjoyed having everyones attention!

The White House

This last week we had the chance to go back to Virginia to visit Jasons family. Out of the year and a half I lived there I really never got to see the city, so we decided to take a day and go up and do the tourist thing, we walked the National Mall, saw the White House, and was able to walk through some museums. We also got to see the Pentagon, Jason's dad works there so we were able to get a tour(sorry no pictures, security is really tight), we also got to see the 9/11 memorial, they have it on the side where the Pentagon was actually hit.
