my soldier

Jason got to leave Iraq for 2 weeks and head over to Kuwait for some training.....the thing I loved most about this, Kuwait is a safe place....for 2 weeks I didn't have to worry about my hubby! I don't think I have slept that well since he left! Maybe they should send him there more often for training. HA HA! Oh...and when he was in Kuwait we found out Jason got a waiver, which means, Early promotion! YAY! Proud of you babe!!!

In 12 days this little boy is having his 5th surgery..... WOW....that is really all I have to say, I'm speechless right now, 5 years old and going on his 5th surgery! But I'll tell you, he is the bravest little boy around! I have been really dreading this surgery, one, because its surgery, but also because I was going to go through it alone...without Jason. UGH...but thankfully our prayers have been answered! Jason is COMING HOME!!! On Monday the 6th I sent a Red Cross Message in hopes that maybe by some chance they would let him come home. I sent the message at 730am and by 1pm we knew he was coming home! YAY, so next week Jason will be flying home from Iraq to be with us for Daniels surgery. There is one perk of Daniel having his surgery at this time,  we also get Jason for Christmas!!! (WAHOO) Its going to be short trip for him, but I will take what I can get, I am just so glad I will have my husband to lean on through all of this, and our family will be intact at surgery time!! So there may not be many presents under the tree this year, but I have everything I want, my family together! Oh and to add to the good news, my parents are also flying down for Christmas. So i'll have my hubby, my kids, and my parents! Christmas is going to be wonderful this year!!!
So thank you to Jasons command for letting my husband come home to be with Daniel for his surgery. Daniel has a very special bond with his daddy and I know with him being home Daniel will recover faster, and I know it will be a big weight lifted off me, I was starting to wonder how I was going to make sure Brielle was taken care of and me be at the hospital with Daniel. So this is truly a blessing!
