wow....what a busy few weeks we have had. I don't even know where to begin. So I guess instead of a long drawn out post I'll post the highlights.....
-Daniels surgery was planned for the 20th, Jason was suppose to leave Iraq on/around the 15th to make it in time....
-one flight delay after another...
-Day before Surgery....Jason is still in Iraq....GRRRRR!
-Sunday Morning Daniel and I head to Phoenix to prepare for the big day!
-I get the call from Jason...HE GOT A FLIGHT! WAHOO!
-Monday Morning we head to Phoenix Childrens Hospital.
-7:30am they take my little boy back....
-I cried like a baby.....
-I really wish Jason was here to lean on right now.....
-Then I get the best phone call yet.....Jason was able to switch his flights, so instead of flying into Tucson Monday night, he is flying into Phoenix and will be to the hospital in a few hours!
-After 5 hours in Surgery the doctor comes out with the good news, Daniel did wonderful and everything went smoothly, and I will soon get to see him!
-After waiting for what seemed forever, I finally get to go back and be with my boy while he is waking up....
-Jason Shows up just after Daniel wakes up!
-What started as a stressfull and exhausting day turned into exciting day the moment Jason walked through those doors!
-We are finally a family again!
-We spent 3 days in the hospital
We finally get to GO HOME!
-now its Brielle's turn to finally see her daddy!!
-Because of RSV season Brielle was not allowed at the hospital :( Boo!!
-We pick up Brielle from a friends house in Phoenix and the moment she see's her daddy she runs right to him and hugs him, and willNOT let go.....
-I cried again.....
-now we are home, enjoying every second together!
-oh and did I mention Jason does NOT have to go back to Iraq! YAY!!! Yep, he's home to stay, at least until the next deployment that is......
Phew......
Okay, so that was longer than I thought, but you get the idea! Its was exhausting and stressfull, but we were truly blessed through all of this and I am so grateful to have my little family together again!
